The following applies to Outlook 2003, 2007 and 2010:

Have you ever held down or hit a wrong key while typing an email in Outlook and the paragraph symbols are added to each line I type? (see below image) Try this simple solution to remove the paragraph symbols.

Use the following steps to remove the paragraph symbols:

1. Open a new email

2. Click somewhere inside the body of the new email

3. Locate and press CTRL + SHIFT + 8

4. Close your email window.

5. Open a new email window to find that your paragraph symbols are gone!
